Matt Wieser is an Vice President in H2C’s Chicago office, where he provides transaction and analytical support to senior bankers on an extensive range of merger and acquisition, capital markets, and strategic advisory engagements.
Prior to joining Hammond Hanlon Camp LLC, Mr. Wieser was a Senior Associate in the General Municipal and Structured Finance Investment Banking Group at Ziegler, where he was responsible for performing detailed credit analysis, quantitative financial analysis, and market research to better aid in the structuring of equity and debt transactions for clients in the project and infrastructure space. Prior to joining Ziegler, Mr. Wieser spent over five years as a municipal credit analyst with Moody’s Investors Service, where he regularly presented recommendations to rating committees and published security specific reports for a variety of general obligation, revenue-backed, and special tax-backed transactions. While with Moody’s, Mr. Wieser participated in sector-wide and issuer specific publications and presented at conferences regarding credit trends in the municipal marketplace.
Mr. Wieser received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and maintains his Series 7 license.
