Katie Proux is a Vice President in H2C’s San Diego office, where she provides support on a range of transactions including capital markets, strategic advisory and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Hammond Hanlon Camp, Ms. Proux worked for Fifth Third Securities’ Public Finance Department, where she was responsible for performing detailed credit analysis and structuring bond issuances based on numerous factors including an issuer’s pre-existing debt service requirements, forecasted cash flows, investor demand and prevailing market conditions.
Ms. Proux first gained exposure to municipal and non-profit credit analysis as an Analyst with Fitch Ratings’ Public Finance Healthcare group, where she specialized in healthcare and senior living community entities. Throughout her career, she has supported a variety of bond offerings including those with fixed and floating rate structures issued by non-profit healthcare systems, school districts, government agencies, higher education institutions, and state and local governments. As the Membership Chair for the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (“IWIRC”), she works to maintain and increase membership numbers to assist the organization in its effort to cultivate productive relationships through the Financing, Restructuring and Insolvency communities.
Ms. Proux received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She also holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business. Ms. Proux is a NASD certified Registered General Securities Representative (Series 7), Registered Municipal Securities Representative (Series 52), Limited Representative – Investment Banking (Series 79), and a Registered Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63).
