NEW YORK—Hammond Hanlon Camp LLC (“H2C”), a healthcare-focused strategic advisory and investment banking firm, announces the recent addition of two industry professionals to its team—Ken Benton, Vice President based in New York and Brady Stern, Associate based in Chicago.
Prior to joining H2C, Ken Benton provided financial and strategic advisory services to healthcare clients at Navigant Capital Advisors and Scott-Macon Ltd. He has advised a wide range of healthcare organizations including hospitals, senior living facilities, surgery centers, medical device manufacturers, healthcare information technology (“IT”) companies, and managed care companies over the course of his investment banking career. With experience on both the sell side and buy side of merger and acquisition transactions (“M&A”), Mr. Benton’s industry knowledge and expertise is an invaluable contribution to H2C’s dedication to client service.
“Ken’s experience in healthcare consulting and investment banking, along with his education in business and law, make him an extremely good fit with our firm’s complex and challenging assignments,” stated Tom Barry, Principal at H2C. “His industry knowledge and expertise are an excellent complement to our team and we are pleased to have him onboard.”
Brady Stern, Associate in Chicago, joins H2C with eight years of investment banking and consulting experience serving a wide range of clients. Prior to joining Hammond Hanlon Camp LLC, Brady was an Associate at Lancaster Pollard & Co., where he focused primarily on the senior living sector, completing numerous financing transactions for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to Lancaster Pollard, Brady worked in the Strategy & Operations service area at Deloitte Consulting LLP, specializing in corporate strategy, cost reduction, audit readiness, and IT portfolio rationalization.
“We are extremely pleased that Brady has joined the H2C team,” stated Victoria Poindexter, Principal at H2C. “His consulting experience, combined with his recent focus on long-term care and senior living, should be particularly valuable to our clients as they pursue opportunities in the increasingly important post-acute sector.”
Ken Benton earned a BA from Williams College in Williamstown, MA and a JD/MBA from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses and is a licensed member of the New York State Bar Association. Brady Stern received a BA in Political Science and Spanish from Denison University and a MS in Management from Case Western Reserve University. He holds Series 79 and 52 securities licenses.
